What does CSG offer?

Seamless interface with customers

We partner with local installers to create a seamless offering that gives your customers options with regard to how and when they receive the value generated by the RECs from their array. 

With our custom built installer portal, information sharing is made easy. 

Collaborative customer education

We will work with you to get all your existing customers up to date with SRECs and create a process for all new customers. 

Team marketing training

We will work with your sales team to market SRECs and how that puts money back into the solar owner’s pockets. We can act as educators to your team and customers for how SRECs impact solar investments. 

Illinois (ABP)

• In Illinois, the Illinois Power Agency (IPA), on behalf of Illinois utilities, is tasked with meeting the set RPS goals.
• Solar owners’ contract with an Approved Vendor (CSG) to sell all the SRECs generated over the first 15 years.
• Pricing is determined by the Adjustable Block Program (ABP).
  
  

Other States

• SREC values are determined by each state’s RPS, how aggressive it is, compliance fees, and availability.
• Some states have tiered markets, allowing for in-state systems to receive a higher price than eligible out-of-state systems.
• Customers can choose a payment structure with either a grant, fixed-rate, or market-based values.
